PobleNou
In Poblenou, a Mediterranean interior shaped by light
In Barcelona's Poblenou neighbourhood, this 1960s apartment offered a simple canvas for a bright, calming home. We made light the guiding thread of the project, creating an urban retreat where clean lines give materials and subtle shades room to breathe.
Microcement brings a gentle continuity to the spaces, within a palette of off-whites, creams and sandy tones. Wood, textured ceramics and natural fibres enrich the interior, accented with olive green and brass. Minimal black aluminium frames define the openings and structure the views. Beneath the living room windows, a bespoke open microcement unit holds books and objects in a sequence of niches that extends the architectural language of the space.
We gave the same attention to storage, integrating it to keep the volumes clear and make everyday life easier. The interior combines the precision of our Parisian influences with a warm, tactile Mediterranean sensibility. In the late afternoon, golden light crosses the living room and brings out the textures of the materials: a soft atmosphere that changes throughout the day.
